Simplifying Investment Disclosure
The FSA has simplified how investment advisers can ensure that they provide consumers with clear and simple information about costs and services in relation to regulated advice.

They have introduced a single document in guidance to replace the existing
Menu and Initial Disclosure Document ('IDD'). This is the new Services and
Costs Disclosure Document which was introduced on 6 August 2008 - although there is a transition period until August 2009 for firms to use up existing stock
of previous material. It combines in one document key information about a firms services and costs and provides firms with flexibility to explain this in their own words. For further information, please click on the link below:
