The FSA have issued a guide called ' Mifid Permissions and Notifications Guide'. Implementation of Mifid will have a number of important administrative consequences for firms including some changes to firms' permissions and passports. In addition some notifications to the FSA may be required. This may impact on both Mifid and non-Mifid firms. This guide intends to explain the nature and the extent of these changes and what firms should do next.
