Dealing with the Regulator

It is inevitable that at stages of being authorised you will have occasions when you are working closely with the regulator in reviewing your business activities. This could be as a result of:

  • FSA themed reviews i.e reviews on a particular compliance issue involving a number of different firms across the industry
  • FSA firm visits including an ARROW (Advanced Risk Responsive Operating Framework) visit or a TCF assessment
  • s.166 Skilled Persons report i.e where the FSA require regulated firms to appoint an independent firm to carry out a compliance review on aspects of your business
  • Enforcement action.
